Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. She maintained her dominance, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Her first major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak.
