Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 1990s saw her was a regular member in the show Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone played the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller during the first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her character after Barone left the show in order to concentrate on full-time work. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005-2007. Barone also appeared in Daddio, a sitcom that aired in 2000. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. The film she acted in, One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Barone has a recurring part on Shake It Up on Disney Channel and began airing the following year, three years after The War at Home had concluded. In this role she is played by the role of Officer Georgia Jones who is the mother of CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in two episodes of Shake It Up in the role in the role of J.J. Jones.
