Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello, I'm Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her wonderful husband JP in Orange County California. Henry is a happy, go-lucky father. Many people recognize my username as @annephung on Instagram which is where I share my life from highs and lows. My parents accompanied my family to America in 1990, when I was only one and a half years old. I wouldn't be sharing my story with you today if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. My parents were my inspiration and helped me to become successful. I believed that my life would be one way or another: I'd graduate from college, get an employment opportunity in the corporate world, then get married and start with a family. That was my ideal of what it would take to be successful. However, life was not so keen on my plans. In 2013 I found myself dreading going to my corporate job because the pay and prestige was not bringing me joyand I was feeling as if I had wasted my time and energy to earn a living even though I knew I had a destiny. My love of fitness and my passion for socializing with others led me to find my new calling as an instructor. In 2014 I started my business on the side and in this year in 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th anniversary. It is rare to find an Asian female in the business. My goal is to be a change maker within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help individuals to be healthier and happier them by creating the most sustainable life that meets their individual goals and needs. Additionally, I'm committed to empowering others so they are able to achieve the goals they set, pursue their interests and lead the life you've always wanted to live. My career was beginning to grow, I was struck by one of the greatest losses in my life - my mom's loss of life. She won her eight year fight with the disease and is now in Heaven as well as with me in my mind and heart at all times. The lessons of life often go unnoticed yet they can prove highly valuable. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways and I truly believe that my Mom gave me another chance at life through her death. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. It was her time to start a new chapter in her life, and I got another chance to live a fulfilling and happy life. As I enter my 30's, I feel alive and aware of the fact that I am living now instead of merely surviving as the person I was back in my previous. When I share my experience I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for those of yours. It is my wish that my words will aid you in understanding that you're not alone. You have the capacity to succeed in everything you desire. My hope is to live your life fully and that your end is without regrets because that's all you can count on for the rest of our lives.
